In this two-part series, we would like to introduce you to the employees of Europapier Germany.
The team has been working together for many years and shares a love of books and a passion for paper.

Since Europapier Germany began operations on 3 February 2025, I have been working with our team of five to support publishers and publishing printing companies throughout Europe. After 42 years in the paper wholesale business, my passion for beautiful books remains unchanged. Our team advises publishers on the selection of suitable papers to produce high-quality books across a wide spectrum. These can include schoolbooks, children's books, comics, art books and museum catalogues. Our customers are increasingly asking us questions about ecology and sustainability when it comes to paper selection. We are committed to providing our customers with advice and support on all environmental issues and to proposing solutions.

Since completing my training way back in 1999, I have remained loyal to the paper industry. For me, books are not just printed pages, but a journey to other countries, other worlds and cultures. They educate, amuse, make you think, entertain and inspire you to dream. In short, books evoke a wide range of emotions. All tasks relating to the back office are in good hands with me. My colleagues sometimes jokingly refer to me as the ‘booking machine’, but that is only a small part of my job. Our team is characterised by a very good dynamic, which helps us to master daily issues with confidence.

I have been working in the paper industry for 29 years. I started my training in this field back then and have been fascinated by it ever since. Over the years, I have got to know various facets of the industry and gained extensive experience in sales, both in Paper wholesale and in the paper industry with various manufacturers. What began with my training has now become my passion: the world of paper – with all its challenges. I look forward to contributing my experience and helping to shape the future of Europapier. Together with our team, I want to expand our business relationships in a sustainable manner and offer our customers real added value. My focus is on quality, reliability and individual solutions.
